The recently renovated Essex Inn is an intimate hotel located in downtown Chicago on Michigan Avenue, across from Grant Park and Lake Michigan. Our hotel is within walking distance to downtown shopping districts and most major museums.

Chicago's Essex Inn is located on Michigan Avenue, right across the street from Grant Park. It is about 20 miles from O'Hare Airport.

The Essex Inn is conveniently located in the heart of Chicago. For families, you'll want to take your kids to the spectacular Shedd Aquarium, the Field Museum, The Sears Tower Skydeck, or just walk across the street to Buckingham Fountain, Grant Park and Millennium Park.
